Feeding Guidelines:

3-5 lbs  1/6 to 1/4 cup

5-10 lbs 1/4 to 3/4 cup

10-15 lbs 1/2 to 1 cup

15 to 20  3/4 to 1 1/2 cups

Measure your scoop - how many ounces?

Pregnant cats 

can eat up to 2 times their normal daily intake of food

Lactating cats

 may need as much as 3 times more food than usual along with increased consumption of water

Kittens

gradually transition from mother’s milk to cat food around 4 to 8 weeks of age

A kitten may double or triple its body weight during the first couple of months, using much more energy than compared to an older cat.

Unless food is readily available all day, kittens should be fed at least 3 to 4 times daily to satisfy their energy demands.

Preventing obesity and providing sound nutrition to meet changes in nutritional requirements will help keep your cat healthy and fit.

Transitioning Your Pet to Nature's Select: 

Switching from your current food to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days to reduce any digestive upsets that occur due to a change in diet. Feed 25% of the new food with 75% of the current food for 2 to 3 days. This should be followed by 50% of each food for 2 to 3 days. This should be followed by 75% of the new food with 25% of the current food for 2 to 3 days. After this time, your dog will be 100% on Nature's Select Dog Food.
